With degrees from The University of Georgia - a Bachelor's and Master's in Clinical Social Work - her person-centered approach shapes how she documents celebrations.
Her work is characterized by an intuitive hybrid of documentary and editorial styles, marrying both digital and film photography. She creates imagery to honor both the boldest declarations and the most subtle details of wedding days.
Drawing from her clinical background, Stokes creates a refined and tailored experience to prioritize legacies as they're made in the moment and to celebrate the connections we've forged along the way.
Stokes Mann, MSW, brings a decade of visual arts experience and a background in clinical social work to wedding photography.

Narcolepsy led me to wedding photography.
Undiagnosed until after college, I didn’t know why years of memories blurred and disappeared, or why time just slipped away. I lost hours and days as though they were only seconds, until in 2016, when my mother gave me a Nikon camera kit.
Photography felt like waking up. As I started adopting a new perspective on my world—both literally and figuratively—I felt pieces of me clicking back together.
Holding a fraction of a second in my hands will always feel like magic to me, because my camera became my way of keeping time, and photography was (and still is) how I honor the people and places that have impacted my life.
In the decade since, it's been a joy to marry the passion I found in social work for working with people and the calling I've felt to capture love stories as fine art.
It is my greatest honor to preserve once in a lifetime moments as they become memories. Not just the milestones, but the smallest glances, the fleeting gestures—the “blink and you’ll miss it” instances that make up a life.
Because in the end, is there any greater luxury than being known and loved? Anything more precious than savoring time, surrounded by your favorite people, in your favorite places?
I can’t think of a single thing, so let’s celebrate in style.

These photos are amazing. I feel like I'm remembering the day even more now.

Love is All
Aim high & be kind
Cherish the little joys
Present over perfect
make time for Coffee on the porch
Laughter with dear friends.
The hush as everyone raises a champagne flute in the air.
These are the moments worth chasing.
No matter the decade, season, or place, it's time spent together that shapes our legacy.

"Stokes did an excellent job capturing the wedding from little moments in the beginning to candid moments during the reception."
